6.4/10

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Twentyone, with its comfortable and modern room and helpful staff. The location made it easy to explore Rome, being within walking distance to many attractions like the Vatican. However, the breakfast service left something to be desired, with some staff not being as accommodating as I hoped.

Rooms
8.0
My room was on the fifth floor, upgraded to a junior suite with a lovely double aspect balcony. The space felt large and modern, which was fantastic since I prefer that over dated decor. Though I did notice some minor issues with the bathroom's layout, it didn't detract much from my experience.
Service
7.0
The reception team was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist with everything I needed. However, I did encounter some challenges with the breakfast staff who were less responsive when I asked for certain items.
Location
9.0
The hotel is situated in a lively area with plenty of cafes and shops nearby. It's also conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the Vatican and a very short stroll across the bridge to Piazza del Popolo.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was served buffet style in a charming ground floor cafe, offering a variety of pastries and hot options. However, it often felt like some items were missing, and staff appeared overwhelmed when I needed assistance.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had solid facilities, including secured parking which is a real gem in Rome. I also appreciated the efficient checkout and luggage storage service.

I had a great experience at Twentyone Hotel in Rome. The location was fantastic, close to the Vatican and many local shops and restaurants (I found some amazing gelato nearby!). However, the wifi was a bit slow, and there were no English channels on TV.

Rooms
9.0
My room was spacious and clean, featuring air conditioning that worked perfectly during the warm October weather. I especially loved the balcony view of St. Peter's Basilica.
Service
8.0
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to provide recommendations or assistance. However, I was disappointed that my pre-arrival request for a surprise for my wife was not addressed.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Rome. It was only a short walk to major attractions like the Vatican and even the Colosseum (I appreciated being in a quieter neighborhood).
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was decent, offering a buffet-style selection, though nothing amazing. The rooftop dining option was a highlight, providing lovely views.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had good facilities, including a reliable mini-bar and the convenience of room amenities. However, I wished there were more toiletries provided in the bathroom.

7.4/10

My stay at Twentyone Hotel had its positives, particularly its fantastic location close to major attractions like the Vatican and plenty of local eateries. However, I faced several challenges during my visit, especially with the room temperature and noise levels. The staff was accommodating, but the overall experience did not meet my expectations.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was of decent size, but the decor in dark shades made it feel a bit gloomy. I appreciated the deep tub in the bathroom, yet the ambiance was noticeably dark and sometimes uninviting. Despite the issues, the cleanliness was commendable.
Service
5.0
While the staff was friendly and I received prompt service for requests, my complaints about the room conditions felt overlooked. I had issues with the air conditioning, and despite seeking assistance, the response was less than satisfactory.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was a standout feature, with easy access to local shops and restaurants, and it was just a walk away from the Vatican and other key sights. This was a definite highlight of my stay.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast options were varied and fresh, but I found room service to be overpriced. It might have been more enjoyable to eat at one of the many nearby cafes instead.
Facilities
6.0
Facilitating various amenities was convenient, and the presence of a parking garage was a plus. However, the limitations in room appliances, such as the absence of a kettle initially, were disappointing.

7.2/10

My stay at Twentyone Hotel was filled with both highlights and a few drawbacks. The location was perfect for exploring Rome's major attractions, and the staff were incredibly helpful in providing recommendations and assistance (which made my experience even better!). However, I did find the rooms to be on the small side, and the bed was quite firm, making it a bit tricky for a good night's sleep.

Rooms
8.0
I found the room to be clean and well-equipped, but it was smaller than I expected and lacked sufficient storage for my belongings (which can be a bit of a pain). The contemporary decor was nice, and I appreciated having a mini-bar for my drinks.
Service
10.0
The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming (I felt genuinely cared for). They provided me with a map and explained the best ways to navigate the public transport options around the city, which I found invaluable.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location just minutes away from the metro and key tourist sites was fantastic (I could easily walk to places like the Vatican and the Colosseum!). It was nice being in a quieter neighborhood while still being close to everything.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was decent, offering a good variety of options, though nothing particularly special (but it definitely filled me up for my daily excursions!). The rooftop restaurant provided beautiful views, especially during the evening.
Facilities
8.0
Facilities were well-maintained, and I was pleased with the available amenities like the efficient WiFi in the restaurant (which was a plus, as I had some work to tackle). I also liked the option of using their room service.
